Mountainside has launched its 2001 Ensure the Future Campaign. Our resident fees are substantially below the average costs of other residential treatment centers. It is only a minimal cost of $1,855 per week.

Recognizing that the next step following treatment is a critical one, Mountainside has inaugurated a Phase IV Program providing residents who have completed treatment at Mountainside with job training and living accommodations. Residents live with peers in a half way house environment under the care, direction and supervision of Mountainsides Program Coordinator, Jerrick Hodge.

The restaurant opened in October 2000 as a coffee house serving lattes, espressos, and homemade pastries made in the Mountainside kitchen. It opened as a full-service restaurant in January 2001, under the direction of the Manager Bob McCarthy and Chef Matt

Mountainside's Adventure Based Initiatives Program has started doing over-night camp outs. Under the supervision of Andy Hincks, CABC, residents are guided up the mountain and camp out at some of our various campsites, including our log cabin at midway point. We are very excited about this development and are grateful to Andy Hincks for his dedication and enthusiasm of the program.

September 9th, 2000 - Mountainside celebrated its Third Annual Labor Day BBQ, it was a great turnout, more than 400 former residents, friends and families were on hand to enjoy the day.

On the Fourth of July Weekend Mountainside held its Third Annual Independence Day BBQ, again with former residents, families and friends celebrating the holiday.
