2008

2007

4th of July Picnic/BBQ
More than 500 friends, families, former residents and supporters came to Mountainside July 1st to celebrate Independence Day. As usual Chef Jake and the rest of the food services crew provided the delicious food and desserts to all of those in attendance. Apart from the various speakers and fellowship there were great games of softball and volleyball as well as a hike to the top of the Mountain in which more than 30 people participated.

Many guests spent the day catching up with old friends, walking the beautiful grounds and enjoying the distant views.  We would like to extend our gratitude to all of those that helped make this event such a success.

May 27th Memorial Day
More than 1,000 people converged on Mountainside to take part in the annual Memorial Day picnic and festivities marking a new Mountainside record. Thanks to the comprehensive planning and preparation by Chef Jake and the Mountainside Maintenance team the grounds and facilities were well prepared to facilitate everyone in attendance.

The outpouring of support from everyone is so special. We at Mountainside are very thankful for everyone who attended and those who could not attend that sent their well wishes.
